Cecilia:

Italy! Some of you may have heard this before, but the first public project built on the metaverse framework is Bubiko: First Flight which was created in Bari, Italy. Tony Vitillo, the man behind The Ghost Howls blog, lives in Torino. Cecilia seems to be the most visible Italian in the world of AR, doing artworks, journalism and educational presentations at AR events worldwide. As I write this she is in Steropsia. I used an AI editing system for the interview above, hoping to come up with something interesting. Honestly, Cecilia’s words and ideas are so strong that I should have just kept it simple.

James Cameron is not Italian, but…

This:

As Meta and Snap unveiled a new generation of lightweight glasses that provide consumers a fashionable alternative to bulky VR goggles, Disney has been quietly assembling a team focused on how best to harness the technology to bring new experiences to the company's theme parks and consumers' homes, seven sources told Reuters.
Tech companies have sold about 1.7 million AR/VR headsets so far this year, data from market research firm IDC showed. Meta is still the clear market leader, with a 60.5% market share, but is starting to face pressure in the space from competitors like Sony, Apple and ByteDance.

is from here.

2025 will be an interesting year for AR. if you are serious about AR, you should subscribe to Lowpass. And, if you’re looking for work, this is worth your while.

Grazie!
