Bubiko's New Year Raisins

AOSP. JnO. Snapchat paparazi.

So… I saw the following on my LinkedIn feed. “So what?" you say, “this kind of post can be expected to show up on the feed of anyone involved with AR…”

Yes, but…. here is a photo I took:

It seems that at almost the exact same moment, someone with some sort of connection to Snapchat took a photo at the same instant I did. Actually, they took a video, but the result is the same. FWIW, I rarely go to sporting events, and this one took place three hours away, by car. I took my mom to see Caitlin Clark play. My mom coached girls’ basketball, at a time when a woman being a coach was not a popular idea with everyone.

Watching the Indianapolis Fever, not far from the Snapchat paparazzi.

From 2022, but full of value:

Speaking of Japan: I am now planning a tour for next Spring. Unlike the past two years, this tour is organized, and I will be doing AR demos and installations all over the country.

Speaking of Japan II: my newest newsletter. So far only photos; writing will follow soon.

A video still featuring Marty Hedler from funexhibits.com. This video, as well as a jeep, a cat, and a capybara were displayed in AR as part of my talk for One Million Cups at Bamboo Ann Arbor. Also featured were photos by Ginger Liemohn. My next talk will be January 22, at Incubizo, in Detroit.

Google made big news when they announced some kind of AI+AR prototype. That’s nice. My path is paved with mobile phone and tablets, but of course AR glasses would be nice. One concern: will these new glasses create yet another platform, or will they work with what we have now? My sources tell me that AOSP will be busier than ever.

For New Year’s Eve: a Portuguese tradition. Bubiko: low tech high art styleeee

Picaisso.xyz is as ultra AI as ever!
